Magnum 29The Magnum Reloaded, including floaters weighs 251 grams. I never flew with the floaters since the plane is not over powered, so put it mildly.

Magnum 16I didn’t like only magnets to hold the main wing. To get a better connection I used some nails to secure the rear end of the wing.

Magnum 20The rudder and elevator have servo horns. I made them with 1mm multiplex but plastic or bought ones will do as well. For the hinges I bought special hinge tape from HobbyKing.

Magnum 1 Installing the electronics is straight forward. Put the battery as far forward as possible. The ESP and receiver go in the fuselage above the wing.

MR: Step 2 Create space in fuselage

Magmum Reloaded bouw (43)To accommodate the electronics I created the space above the wing in the fuselage. The battery is behind the motor, as far forward as possible. Cut away a much as possible with a knife. In difficult spots, I used a hot nail to burn away the epp. The nail has been bent in a 90 degree angle.

2014-01-26 16.30.44I started building the support for the motor Turnigy Park250, outrunner 1680kv, the wrong way. This was my first brushless motor. I had to cut the slot when the everything was glued. It is easier to cut the slot first.
